When disaster strikes, we're here for you. If your property has been damaged, our priority is to help you recover quickly and smoothly.

  1. When it’s safe to do so, survey the damage and contact your insurance carrier to file a claim. Because there is a mortgage on your property, the claim check you receive will be payable to both you and Flat Branch.
  2. Review your most recent mortgage statement to determine what loan type you have and download the appropriate claim package below.
  3. To get your check endorsed by Flat Branch, we will need the check, a copy of the insurance adjusters report, and a completed insurance claim package.
USDA Loans All Other Loan Types

Please note that local Flat Branch offices are unable to endorse insurance claim checks. For fastest processing, please send all documentation to the address found in the insurance claim packet. We recommend utilizing a trackable mail service when shipping claim checks. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing; endorsed checks will be returned via UPS.
